A fascinating evening with Katharine Hogg, librarian at the Foundling Museum, giving an insight into the life of composer, entrepreneur and philanthropist George Frideric Handel, who was a governor of the Foundling Hospital. The institution became England’s first public art gallery and organised popular fundraising concerts.
